Doug -

I love your smoke house. It looks very similar to one my wife's uncle use to have. He was a game warden for 30 years and smoked all kinds of wild game, fish, cheese...you name it. He passed away a couple of years ago and as a way to honor him I would like to build a smoker.

Would it be possible for you t send your plans?

Best regards,
Shawn

This is a good plan for our Small Brown Bat here in Alaska. The internet has lots of good suggestions for building these. Let me know what you build and how it works--mine is still empty but it takes up to two years for them to become accustomed to it.

Thanks for the bat-house kick in the ass that I needed, as it's one of my projects that never crossed from planning to realization stage. And, I didn't know about the poles.
